Dylan and Hayden own the business and turn up to the jobs. The person who quotes it is the person who does it — or the bloke standing next to them.
Meet the crewElectrical
Bedroom that's unbearable by 2am in February? A fan is the cheapest cooling you'll ever run. We'll put one up properly — braced, balanced and switched where you can reach it.

The problem
If one of these is you, you are in the right place. Tell us which one and we will come back with a price.
What we do
Supplied and installed, or yours put up. New points, wall controls and proper bracing where the ceiling needs it.
What's included
A ceiling fan is a few kilos of spinning weight hanging over a bed. It needs to be fixed to something structural — a ceiling batten, a joist, or a brace we install between them. Plasterboard on its own is not a fixing, and a fan mounted to it is the reason old fans wobble, click and eventually come loose.
We’ll check what’s above the ceiling before we quote. On a flat or raked ceiling, or where the fan has to go somewhere there’s no batten, a brace goes in from the roof space. Low-profile ceilings get a hugger-style fan so you keep the blade clearance without ducking.
Most fans get a wall control rather than a pull cord — it’s easier to reach and it doesn’t snap off. DC motor fans cost a bit more up front and use a fraction of the power of an old AC one, run much quieter, and come with a remote and more speed steps. In a bedroom that difference is worth paying for.
Happy to supply the fan or to install one you’ve already bought. Either way you get the same install and the same warranty on our workmanship.
Electrical work gets quoted per job, so there is no honest price to put on a page — every house is different. What we can promise is that you see the number before anyone starts.

We look at the job, then send the number. Nothing starts until you have said yes to it.
The price is the price
If we find something we could not see, you get a call and a revised number — not a bigger invoice at the end.
10% pensioner discount
Just mention it when you send the job through and we will take it off the quote.
Who we work for
Three very different jobs, three different things that matter. Here's how we handle each one.
Someone who turns up when they said, does it properly and tells you the price first.
A sub you can put on the program and forget about. Rough-in to fit-off, on the day.
Fast make-safes, compliance that stands up, and an invoice your system will accept.
How it works
Tell us what needs doing. Photos help.
Within a business day, from Dylan or Hayden.
A price in writing before anyone touches a tool.
You pick a day that works and we turn up on it.
Questions
Usually, but not always, and the reason is the fixing rather than the wiring.
A fan is several kilos of spinning weight. It has to be fixed to a ceiling batten, a joist, or a brace we install between them — plasterboard on its own isn’t a fixing. Where the light sits between battens we fit a brace from the roof space.
You’ll also want a separate switch or a wall control for the fan, which is a second consideration we’ll cover in the quote.
Usually yes, and plenty of people do.
Two conditions: it has to be compliant gear for Australia, and the warranty on the unit itself stays between you and wherever you bought it. We’ll warrant our installation either way.
Send us the model before you buy it and we’ll tell you if it’s suitable for the spot you’ve got in mind — that’s a cheaper conversation than finding out afterwards.
You get a price in writing before we touch a tool. That’s the promise the whole business runs on.
Tell us what needs doing — photos of the switchboard or the unit help a lot — and Dylan or Hayden will call you back to check the details. Then the quote comes through in writing. If you’re happy with it, we book a day. No surprise numbers at the end of the job.
We’re based in Deception Bay and work right across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay — the Redcliffe peninsula, the North Lakes corridor, Caboolture and north, and Brisbane’s northern suburbs.
If you’re not sure whether you’re in our patch, send the suburb through and we’ll tell you straight. If it’s a stretch for us we’ll say so rather than waste your time.
We clean up after ourselves. Drop sheets down, dust vacuumed up, old fittings and packaging taken away with us.
Where a wall or ceiling has to be opened we cut neat and tell you first, so you know exactly what you’re getting back. Plaster patching and painting we leave to you or your painter unless you’d rather we organise it — just ask while we’re quoting.
Shoes off inside if that’s the house rule. No worries.
Why AWSM
Most jobs need a sparky, an air con bloke, or both. You get both from the same team — one quote, one invoice, nobody to blame.

Dylan and Hayden own the business and turn up to the jobs. The person who quotes it is the person who does it — or the bloke standing next to them.
Meet the crewGear we can get parts for in ten years, not whatever was cheapest this week. If you'd rather supply your own, that's fine too.
